Re-imagine your unloved silver and gold and create something you will treasure forever.

In this fun, creative workshop you'll be able to bring your unloved, hallmarked family silver or gold and transform them into a new bespoke piece of jewellery that you will want to wear and treasure.

What you’ll do

This is hands-on jewellery-making. Under the expert guidance of James, a 7th generation jeweller, you'll use traditional jewellery making techniques to melt down your old silver and gold. Reimagine your Grandpa's silver spoon or Granny's wedding ring into something new - cast a signet ring or simple curio that you bring with you (e.g. a shell from the beach or from a memorable walk maybe)

The whole experience lasts a morning and you'll be able to celebrate your artistry at lunchtime with a hot roll and a drink

Materials

If you want to transform your old jewellery you will need to bring a piece of hallmarked silver or gold to rework and reimagine.
